Because of the rising popularity of environmental sustainability and recreational sports, WISE planned a High School biking field trip to Sun Moon Lake in Nantou. The bike route, a 3.5km trail from XiangShan and ShuiShi, is suitable for leisurely riding and sightseeing along Sun Moon Lake. In the afternoon, students went to the Atunas Taiwan Outdoor Center in Nantou to experience rock and tree climbing. Students put on their safety helmets, tightened their harnesses, and started to climb towards the top!
The Ba Ba Tunnel retains the early mining culture of NanZhuang. WISE Elementary and Middle School students had an amazing and full of fun mining culture trip! They not only experienced the early mincers working environment in the underground, but also had DIY train making and Hakka Ground Tea making on that day. Through this off-campus teaching, students will have a better understanding of Taiwan’s important energy development in the 40s and 70s.

Speaking of Easter, we think of an egg hunting game. But this year, WISE gave students a different impression for Easter.
On March 25th, WISE participated in friendly basketball matches against Hong Wen Senior High School and Juntou International School. Our school team training is about so much more than athletics; it continuously builds teamwork skills along with perseverance and tenacity.
