On March 25th, WISE participated in friendly basketball matches against Hong Wen Senior High School and Juntou International School. Our school team training is about so much more than athletics; it continuously builds teamwork skills along with perseverance and tenacity. After basic training, the basketball team began their technical training. While the basics seem simple, they are an integral part of shaping the team’s camaraderie and strengthening their bonds.
The basketball coaches play an important role as well, not only leading the team on the court but also attending to students’ health and academics, encouraging them to become well-rounded athletes.
We hope the players can learn from each other and have more experiences through this time.
