WISE 2022 Grade 1 Orientation

Last week here at WISE, we welcomed our cutest members to the school.

Thanks to our grade one teachers’ hard work, our G1 students had an exciting time meeting their teachers and classmates face-to-face as well as exploring the campus during orientation week. It was momentous for them as it represents a milestone in their primary school life, and they are well-prepared for the adventure in the coming school year!

School club is always a great way to explore new interests and you might develop new skills there.

It can also help you release stress from studying.

Agyness Tsang - Accepted to Arizona State University

Agyness Tsang, our G12 student, has been accepted to several of the most prestigious public universities in the US, including Arizona State University, Michigan State University, and the University of Minnesota Duluth. Agyness has decided to attend Arizona State University and major in Business Data Analytics. According to the Wall Street Journal, ASU has one of the top five best business schools in the country. Agyness has also received ASU's international student scholarship. We are confident that she will continue to excel at university, and we wish her every success!

Ives Lai - Accepted to the University of Illinois at Chicago

Ives Lai, our G12 student, has been accepted to several of the most prestigious public universities in the US, including the University of Illinois at Chicago and George Mason University. He will attend the University of Illinois Chicago to study management information systems. In today's economy, Ives believes that managing information is critical to a company's success. The Management Information System at the University of Illinois Chicago is an excellent opportunity to become a knowledgeable professional and contribute to the advancement of the world.

Joy Hsieh - Accepted to Temple University

Joy Hsieh, our G12 student, has been accepted to several of the most prestigious public universities in the US, including Temple University and Miami University. Joy has decided to major in Public Relations at Temple University. "I've always wanted to go to a big city like Philadelphia to study." Joy expressed her excitement to begin her new life on the campus. Temple University provides hundreds of student-run clubs and organizations for students to participate in. We are thrilled for her and can’t wait to hear about her new adventures! 

Michelle Chen - Accepted to the University of Sheffield Dental School

Michelle Chen has been accepted to University College London, the University of Sheffield, and the University of Manchester. These schools are all ranked among the top 50 universities in the world. We are ecstatic to learn of Michelle's incredible achievement! Michelle has chosen to major in Dental Surgery at the University of Sheffield. She told us that she has always wanted to pursue dentistry and that the main character in her favorite television show is also a dentist.

Kelly Lo - Accepted to Nottingham University

Kelly Lo has been accepted to several of the world's top 100 universities, including Manchester University, Leeds University, and Nottingham University. Kelly told us, "I'm heading to the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom to study business management." This institution appealed to me since it provides a pleasant learning environment and is a well-known business school in the United Kingdom. I've chosen business management as my major because it's vital everywhere and offers a lot of room for growth. It has piqued my curiosity since I was a child.

Vivian Tsai -Accepted to the Les Roches International School of Hotel Management

Vivian Tsai has been accepted into the Les Roches Global Hospitality Education program. Les Roches is ranked among the top three hospitality schools in the world. Students receive one or more job offers on graduation day because of the school's prestigious reputation in the business. It can be difficult to balance an internship with schoolwork. We have faith in Vivian's ability to stay on the path she has chosen and to look forward to a bright future. WISE wishes her the best of luck!
