We held a series of thanksgiving activities yesterday. Elementary students have a lot of fun during the day. The student council was assisting the game booths. The interaction between the student council and elementary students was so lovely. We also held a potluck party for elementary students. They share food and drink while enjoying games and movies with friends and teachers. For the thanksgiving feast this year, ‘International’ is our theme. The chef made us cuisines that represent different countries. We hope our international students and teachers enjoyed the meal. At the same time, we decorated our table with eco-candles handmade by students to show our appreciation to the parent association. The candle is made with wasted crayons. We hope this activity could make our students learn about gratitude and care about the environment. In middle school and high school, not only did they enjoy the food. They also get a chance to learn from international volunteer lectures. Furthermore, the student council held a food drive to raise the public’s attention to the food issue.
Thank you so much for all the support of parents, students, and teachers!
