Students brought their invention idea-“children’s car heatstroke escape device” to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the ITEX event. This year, WISE joined the World Young Inventors Exhibition (WYIE) from 5/2-5/4.

This was a great opportunity not only for students to meet others from around the world but to immerse themselves in creativity and design thinking!

Students were very busy - From setting up the display booth to rehearsing the presentation speech. WISE is proud to see WISE students deliver a tremendous performance to and earn the WYIE 2019 Gold medal.

In our holiday week, on Wednesday (12/18), WISE Leadership and Volunteering Club set up a hot chocolate station for all our students, faculty, and staff. With marshmallows added to their hot chocolate, our students all enjoyed a warm, sweet, and traditional winter holiday drink.
