WISE 2021 Thanksgiving

What are you thankful for?

As one of the three major festivals in the United States, Thanksgiving is a day for a family reunion, as well as a time to express gratitude.

The Thanksgiving Feast hosted by WISE was as meaningful as the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. It is not only a sumptuous meal, WISE Student Council also invited each class from Grade 1 to Grade 12 to prepare a short video to say thank you to those they want to thank the most.

After lunch, each class from elementary school prepared exotic treats from different countries and shared them with other classes. In this activity, the students learned the importance of cherishing food and the beauty of sharing.

For middle and high schools, they were divided into groups according to the houses, and a contest for mini pumpkins took place. The winners could receive exotic snack packs, which aroused the students' desire to win.

Finally, WISE specially invited a traditional puffed rice provider to demonstrate how puffed rice is made on site. Through eye-catching food education, it cultivates students' respect and gratitude for food, producers, and the environment, and also promotes traditional Taiwanese street food.

By this chance, all of the faculty from WISE would like to give a big thanks to the Parent Association for supporting WISE activities. WISE is growing stronger and stronger because of your assistance.
