In grade 5th English class, students learned about the ecosystem and the word “Terrarium", and our students made the terrarium by themselves! This project is intended to support 5th grade students with their understanding of Earth's spheres as well as their knowledge of ecosystems and their interactions as seen in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Students need to design, build, and observe their own terrarium while recording their process, results, and modifications.
