In order to raise awareness of fire safety and how we should react during a fire, WISE invited fire fighters from the Fire Bureau of Taichung City Government to teach our students 1) home fire safety, 2) CRP and AED, 3) how to use a fire extinguisher, and 4) how to use a fire hose. Students are divided into four groups and rotate through four stations. They all had a chance to use fire safety equipment. We wanted to use this opportunity to not only teach our students the importance of fire safety awareness, but to make sure they have the basic skills.
