Wagor International School of Excellence (WISE) is taking the COVID-19 epidemic very seriously. In addition to arranging staff to take the temperature of students and off-campus visitors, we have been requiring that those entering campus clean their hands with alcohol and checking that all people entering campus wear masks to prevent the spread of disease.

Recently, one student’s parents has donated a set of infrared thermometers and a laptop to the school. We have already set up the machine at the school entrance. An infrared thermometer is a non-contact temperature measurement device. This camera will measure the body temperature of all people entering campus. If their temperature is too high, indicating a fever, it will be displayed in red and trigger a warning sound. The school staff will then use a forehead thermometer to confirm their temperature. If they do have a fever, the visitor or student must follow the school’s epidemic prevention policy.

We really appreciate the donation of this equipment to our school, as it will help increase the speed and completeness of our screening procedures. We also want to thank for all students and parents for their understanding of and cooperation on our epidemic prevention procedures.
