The Asia Pickleball Championship is an annual international competition held in Taiwan. Each year, contestants with different nationalities play against each other. As a growing sport, Pickleball combines the characteristics of badminton, tennis, and table tennis, and it might become one of the demonstration sports in the Olympics.
WISE is one of the few schools in central Taiwan that incorporates Pickleball into school training. After training for a semester, Grade 9 Tom, Grade 10 Genie, Grade 11 Duncan, Michael, Grade 12 Michelle, Emma, Hebe, Ryan, Ives, Jacob, and Jack represented WISE to compete for high school doubles. Their superb skills won the praise from the audience, and for us, each of them is the winner.
