The Love of Pi.
A simple ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. We use it daily. And yet, humanity, has only scratched the surface of the meaning of this magical number. On 3/14, WISE celebrated Pi Day as the final activity of Math Week. Each class hosted their own competition that challenges students to memorize this non-terminating, non-repeating decimal number. Throughout the math week, we have posted math questions all around our campus for students to find and answer. We wanted students to know that math can be fun and is always around us. And we ended the week with a Pi.
